The digital design or computing course uses the design cycle to solve problems through the use of a computer system. The study of digital design equips students to create computer generated digital products/solutions to solve problem and meet perceived needs. Middle School students learn how computers and computer systems work, how they are designed and programmed, how to apply computational thinking, and how to make best use of information technology. Computing brings new challenges and opportunities that should excite and empower students.
