Harvard Innovation Challenge SE Asia III Award Winner
Congratulations to Jaeyi, Gisela, and Sherry who achieved Honorable Mention and Team Award in Harvard Innovation Challenge Southeast Asia III.
Co-organized by the Harvard Global Education Movement & The Global Citizen Education group, the Harvard Innovation Challenge Southeast Asia III challenged students to work in small teams on an impactful “Solution Proposal” designed to tackle real-world problems and stimulate ideas for future projects—focused on two tracks, Urbanisation & Industrialisation and Well-being & Equity.
The event guided students through the different aspects of international development and helped them understand their role as citizens of the world through open debate sessions about their ideas before presenting a final round proposal at the end of the conference.
Sherry was awarded third place Team Award while Jaeyi was achieved Honorable Mention Urbanisation & Industrialisation and Gisela achieved Honorable Mention Well-being & Equity

IB DP Perfect Score
Congratulations for Sarah Sinartio that successfully achieved perfect score 45/45 in IB Diploma.
Sarah was accepted into University of Manchester (Zoology), University of Edinburgh (Veterinary), University of Surrey (Veterinary Science), and University of Glasgow (Veterinary Science).

IB MYP Personal Project Student Innovator Award 2021
Congratulations to Josh and Alisa for being selected as the semi-finalists for IB MYP Personal Project Student Innovator Award 2021.
Josh created Edukasih, an application able to effectively facilitate the book donations process by connecting people who have the resources (books) and the people who need them. He aims to save paper by maximizing the reutilization of books and also make education become more affordable.
Alisa created Tele-Operated Surgical A.I. Robots, a telesurgery simulation system that will be performed with the use of Virtual Reality headsets, which will be very beneficial for treating patients with complex conditions. She aims to increase access to quality healthcare for people around the world and improve current surgical care systems through technology and robotics.
The final selection phase will be held on 20 August 2021—selecting 30 students from IB school around the world who will be supported by IB to create, innovate and expand their impactful projects of their own design.

The Fourth Global Chinese Recitation Competition Winner
Congratulations to Sinarmas World Academy students who won awards in the Fourth Global Chinese Recitation Competition.
Divided by two rounds, a total of 13,285 contestants participated in the Indonesia Round which the best students in this round advanced to compete in the Global Round with more than 15,000 contestants from all over the world.

Wang Ruoyi won the first place in the Indonesia Round and bronze prize in the Global Round.
Jansie Bakhach won the third place in the Indonesia Round and outstanding award in the Global Round.
Lui Wai Yin won the merit award in the Indonesia Round and outstanding award in the Global Round.
(Youth’s group)
Qiao Zhenxuan won the third place in the Indonesia Round and outstanding award in the Global Round.
(Early Years’ group)
Yu Xinyue won the merit award in the Indonesia Round and outstanding award in the Global Round.
Wang Yu Jia won the merit award in the Indonesia Round.
