World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Indonesia Round 2024 Silver Medal Winners
Congratulations to SWA's young innovators for their achievements at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Indonesia Round 2024 in Surabaya last week.
SWA Roboknights Jr., featuring Liam (G3) and Haejin (G4), secured 2nd place in the Elementary Category with their ""Tsunami Emergency Smart Kit"". This innovative tool enhances safety during emergencies with its water level sensor and GPS and GSM module, which helps prevent people, including those with disabilities, from getting lost by tracking their location and sending SMS alerts.
In the Junior Category, Carlos, Samarth, and Ruoyi, with their SWA Ocean Voyager, a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) prototype designed to navigate around oil rigs, also achieved 2nd place. This ROV is specifically engineered for remote operation without the need for a person on board, significantly improving the safety and efficiency of underwater exploration.

Piala Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia Aragon Merdeka Master 2024 Dressage Show Silver Medal Winner
Congratulations to Adriana who won various achievements in Piala Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia Aragon Merdeka Master 2024 Dressage Show. This competition took place in Hub Indonesia, Cibubur, 15 August 2024.
She won 2nd place in both the Elementary Class U21 and the Medium Class Open U21.

Equestrian Solidarity Challenge Dressage Series 1 2024 Winner
Congratulations to Adriana who won various achievements in Equestrian Solidarity Challenge Dressage Series 1, 2024. This competition took place in Equinara Horse Sports, 2-3 March 2024.
On day 1, she won 4th place for Dressage Medium Open class. She was also the youngest rider on that day. And on day 2, she won 2nd place for Dressage Elementary class.

International Chemistry Quiz 2021 Awardees
Congratulations to all students who took part in the International Chemistry Quiz 2021, hosted by the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), on October 1st, 2021.
The ICQ competition is dedicated to promote and encourage awareness of the nature and relevance of chemistry amongst secondary school students. Their goal is to interest students in the further study of chemistry and help illustrate to students the important role chemistry plays in our society. Questions were based on the fundamental aspects of chemistry as well as questions involving its application in modern society.
Two of our SWA student participants, Janice and Trevyn successfully became the only two recipients of the Award of Excellence for outstanding performance in the entire Indonesia region.
Other SWA students, Yu Ju and Audric received Credit Awards in this competition.
