American Math Olympiad (AMO) Gold, Silver & Bronze Award winners and Honorable Mention
American Math Olympiad (AMO) is an international math competition for elementary, middle, and high school students jointly organized by SIMCC and Southern Illinois University (SIU). It promotes the importance and a deeper understanding of math.
AMO is open to all Grade 2 to 12 students and its framework is based on The US Common Core Standards. On November 2, 2023, a group of 23 students took part in the AMO. Among them, several students achieved various levels of recognition, including honorable mention, as well as bronze, silver, and gold awards.
