The SWA 10th Anniversary was a celebration SWA’s unique talents and unity of the whole community. The discipline, hard work, and cooperation shown by the students were truly remarkable. The performances were a testament to SWA’s pool of great minds and impressive talents. Additionally, it was an honour for our students to perform for the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Health Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, Mrs. Nila Moeloek and other dignitaries in the audience.


As SWA continues to grow, it will also strengthen its commitment to excellence in academics, innovation, and embodiment of Asian values that will guide the students as they lead in the future.

The week of September 19-24 has been a very memorable one for the 9 SWA students who participated in the student exchange programme to Seoul National University Elementary School (SNUES). Our SWA participants were very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend the different classes in SNUES, which is one of the top schools in Korea that has an acceptance rate of 24:1. Not only did the students gain new knowledge from the classes they attended but they brought home fond memories with the host families and friends from SNUES.

Every year, on 17th of August, the whole SWA community celebrate the Independence Day unfurling the National Flag and singing Indonesian National Anthem. Following the Flag Raising Ceremony, the students happily participated in all the games that were organised. The EY students were so excited as they played the Obstacle Run, Eggs Relay, Picking Up Coins, Water Balloons Basket, Balloon Dance Pair, Musical Chairs, and Flag Race. On the other hand, the ES students had Flowing Ball, Paper Airplane, Water Falls, and the two most favourite games Kerupuk-eating and Tug of War. The MSHS students were divided into 4 houses and each member of the houses registered to participate in the games: Tug of War, “Special Bakiak”, “Sarung” Soccer, and many more. The spirit of togetherness was very evident as students showed their full support to their teammates.
