100% of Sinarmas World Academy (SWA) Graduates Accepted into Top Universities Worldwide
Tangerang, May 29, 2024 – Sinarmas World Academy (SWA), a leading IB and Cambridge school in Indonesia, announced the graduation of the class of 2024. These exceptional students have demonstrated dedication, hard work, and perseverance to achieve outstanding results. The graduation ceremony took place on May 29, 2024, at the Trini Dewi Hall on the SWA campus in the green area of BSD, Tangerang. Families, friends, and the SWA community attended the event to celebrate this special moment.
All SWA graduates this year were accepted into the world's top universities. They were admitted to prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford, University of Melbourne, Imperial College London, and the University of Toronto, indicating a bright future ahead of them.
Sanandha Prabu, one of SWA's top graduates in 2024, was accepted to the University of Oxford for Fine Arts. Sanandha has shown remarkable dedication and talent during her studies. Since grade 10, she has engaged in sociopreneurship through pottery art, with sales proceeds used to assist waste pickers with limited access to food and hygiene supplies.
"Graduating from SWA has been a transformative experience for me," said Sanandha Prabu. "We have grown beyond academics; we have developed as leaders ready to continue making significant changes in the world."
Another outstanding graduate, Gisela Natalie Kasena, has a passion for engineering. Her project resulted in a prototype tool to dry water hyacinth, which is then processed into fiber materials replacing plastic and leather. Thanks to her project, Gisela was accepted at Imperial College London for Biomedical Engineering. Imperial College London ranks among the top 10 universities globally according to QS and THE rankings.

The 2024 SWA graduates have reached many important milestones, such as winning the World Mathematical Invitational, the World Innovative Science Project Olympiad, and the World Robotic Olympiad. They have also made significant impacts on the community through various initiatives, including teaching English to students at SDN 35 Dompu in NTT and sharing knowledge and ideas at TEDxYouth@SWA. Their commitment to service and leadership has left an indelible mark on SWA and the community.
