Designing Her Future with Purpose: Jasmine's BEST Pathways® Story
Jakarta, Indonesia, August 13, 2025 — Sinarmas World Academy (SWA) is where creative minds grow bold, skilled, and ready for the world. Jasmine, Class of 2025, is the living canvas, where her love for arts evolved into a scholarship-winning journey, empowered by the BEST Pathways®.
Inspired by cartoons, Jasmine filled her sketchbooks with drawings of her favourite characters. Seeing this spark early on, SWA actively nurtured her growing passion by offering immersive field trips to places like Museum Fatahillah and Sasak Village, where history, culture, and craftsmanship came alive. Each experience added colour and clarity to the academic path she would soon craft.
As Jasmine entered middle and high school, her passion found direction. With the steady guidance of mentors and counsellors at SWA, she began to blueprint a future where creativity and academics moved in harmony. “What was good about SWA’s BEST Pathways® programme that it encouraged me to explore different fields like English and Computer Science—both of which are essential to my chosen major in Graphic Design. This helped me grow into a well-rounded designer with a diverse and versatile skill set,” she shared.
Beyond academics, SWA inspired Jasmine to connect with communities through Project Limitless, teaching art to underprivileged children, and EngageSWA, a student-led initiative showcasing school spirit. These experiences, combined with her refined portfolio, strengthened her university applications and helped secure acceptances and scholarships from top institutions worldwide, including the University of Toronto, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Technology Sydney, and many more.
