
SWA Celebrates Exceptional IB MYP Personal Project 2025 Achievements
Jakarta, Indonesia, August 5, 2025 — Sinarmas World Academy (SWA) celebrates the outstanding performance of Grade 10 students in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Personal Project for the May 2025 session. Outperforming the global average of 3.94, SWA’s Grade 10 students achieved a remarkable school average of 5.88, showcasing SWA’s strong foundation in inquiry-driven, student-centred learning.
Out of 25 students, seven (28%) achieved the highest possible grade of 7. In total, 72% earned top-tier scores of 6 or 7, reflecting the depth, quality, and personal engagement demonstrated throughout their projects.
This year’s projects showcased a wide range of topics, from sustainability and social justice to innovation and creative expression. Engineering-focused designs included solar and wind-powered cooling systems and water purification prototypes aimed at supporting local communities. Technological projects featured AI-based learning tools to improve accessibility and architectural models of sustainable homes. Creative expressions ranged from children’s books promoting emotional resilience to inclusive board games designed for neurodiverse learners, as well as handcrafted artistic products inspired by cultural heritage.
