SWA RoboKnights Won 6 Awards. Next Stop: VEX Robotics World Championship in the U.S
Jakarta, Indonesia, 24 January 2026 — In a stunning display of excellence and triumph, Sinarmas World Academy (SWA) has once again cemented its status as a robotics powerhouse after claiming the prestigious awards at the VEX Robotics Indonesia National Championship.
Forging a new legacy as the first-ever host of the VEX Robotics competition in the country, SWA, in partnership with PT Provisi Mandiri Pratama, watched the event evolve into a definitive showcase of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) excellence.
In fierce competition against the brightest young engineers from other international schools across Indonesia, SWA dominated a total of six different categories:
- Excellence Award: 50251A SWA RoboKnights HS
- Skills Only (Elementary School): 85968A SWA RoboKnights ES
- Skills Only (Middle School): 85968B SWA RoboKnights MS
- Skills Only (High School): 50251A SWA RoboKnights HS
- Design Award: 85968B SWA RoboKnights MS
- Judges Award: 85968A SWA RoboKnights ES

The triumphs of the day culminated in an extraordinary announcement that 85968A SWA RoboKnights ES, 85968B SWA RoboKnights MS, and 50251A SWA RoboKnights HS will represent Indonesia at the VEX Robotics World Championship in the United States.
“We are incredibly proud of how far our students have come. To have all Elementary, Middle, and High School teams qualify for the VEX Robotics World Championship simultaneously speaks volumes about the strength of SWA’s robotics programme,” remarked Dr. Haoken, SWA’s IBDP Coordinator.
