The Gift of Life: SWA Unites the Community Through Blood Donation Drive
Jakarta, Indonesia, January 9, 2025 — Sinarmas World Academy (SWA) came together in the spirit of compassion through a Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with Palang Merah Indonesia.
Driven by a shared desire to transform lives, 64 individuals stepped forward. After completing the mandatory health screening conducted by Palang Merah Indonesia, 34 donors were able to safely proceed and contribute the invaluable gift of life. The collected blood will soon serve as a vital lifeline in nearby hospitals, offering crucial support to patients who depend on transfusions and providing comfort to their families.
Beyond the donations themselves, this drive also served as an important reminder of maintaining good health, not only for safe blood donation but also for personal well-being and one’s future.
Heartfelt appreciation goes to our beloved parents for their thoughtful support in providing nutritious refreshments for donors, including bananas, milk, and light snacks, helping ensure participants were well cared for throughout the process.
This Blood Donation Drive was a true celebration of community spirit in action. Through shared compassion and collective effort, students, parents, and staff came together to create meaningful impact. The day served as a beautiful testament that even the simplest acts of kindness can create ripples of hope far beyond our reach.
