Varsity Debate

Students in the debate teams develop their research skills in the process of supporting or opposing different motions. Debaters acquire critical thinking skills, learning how to listen carefully to the claims made by each participant and then present strong counter arguments. Since debates are conducted in teams, the students learn how to collaborate and support each other.

Badminton Clubs

Badminton Clubs

Student representatives facilitate the badminton club. Members are dedicated to spend quality time together while engaging in physical exercise in the midst of their school hours to maintain a healthy balance between studying. The executive team helps in setting up the badminton court and manages to collection of funds to buy shuttlecocks. In the club, the students from Grade 6 to 12 practice how to serve, lob, smash, and drop shot. They also learn how to play the game and its rules. The students take turn in pairs to have a doubles game and further learn the strategies involved in doubles play. Furthermore, we enforce a sense of unity amongst members as students from varying grade levels who come together to play a sport they mutually love, building friendships, sharing their skills and techniques, and playing with great sportsmanship. The badminton club consists of players with varying skills and knowledge regarding badminton, but despite of all the difference, we remain united in our love for badminton.
